Steven Colbert earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University with a minor in Material Science. He has thirty years of experience creating continuous improvements in manufacturing techniques through chemistry, equipment design, and process modification for a wide variety of regulated industries and products. He uses his broad experience and understanding of engineering fundamentals to simplify complex systems, break them down into their elemental components, and develop strategies that achieve customer goals (e.g., increased yield, cost reduction, etc.). Most recently, he spent the last twenty-one years using his Program Management skills to drive Lean / Six Sigma projects to optimize production and validate processes in the medical devices arena.
