Steven Colbert earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University with a minor in Material Science. He has twenty-six years of experience creating continuous improvements in manufacturing techniques through chemistry, equipment design, and process modification for a wide variety of regulated industries and products. He uses his broad experience and understanding of engineering fundamentals to simplify complex systems as a means to break them down into their elemental components to develop strategies to achieve customer goals (e.g. increased yield, cost reduction, etc.). Most recently, he has spent the last eleven years using Lean / Six Sigma and statistical principles for the purposes of production optimization and process validation in the Medical Devices arena.
